Guru Studio was a in-house animation studio based in Toronto, Canada, also known as "Guru Animation Studio", or "Guru" for short. The company started production overseas [[Nelvana Limited (Canada)|Nelvana Ltd]] for ''The Backyardgains'', then ''Mudpit'' for [[Cookie Jar Entertainment (Canada)|Cookie Jar]]. Since then, when Guru partners [[Spin Master Entertainment (Canada)|Spin Master]], the company begins production for Nick Jr worldwide, TVO Kids and Milkshake in the UK entitled, Paw Patrol. The series was well-known for merchandising, licensing through Spin Master all around the world. Since the series was widely popular all around the world, The company made it's in-house work overseas [[Nickelodeon]]'s own animation studio in Burbank, California for S1 of another well-known series for Nick Jr. entitled ''Shimmer and Shine''.
