Background

Guru Studios was a in-house animation studio based in Toronto, Canada, also known as "Guru Animation Studios", or "Guru" for short. The company started production overseas Nelvana Ltd for The Backyardagains, then Mudpit for Cookie Jar. Since then, when Guru partners Spin Master, the company begins production for Nick Jr worldwide, TVO Kids and Milkshake in the UK entitled, Paw Patrol. The series was well-known for merchandising, licensing through Spin Master all around the world. Since the series was widely popular all around the world, the company made it's in-house work overseas Nickelodeon's own animation studio in Burbank, California for S1 of another well-knowned series for Nick Jr. worldwide, Treehouse TV in Canada and Milkshake in the UK entitled "Shimmer and Shine". Although the first season was made entirely in 2-D format. in The company was famous for "Paw Patrol" and also made bumpers for YTV and Treehouse and as well as commercials.
