Background

1st Logo (1980s-1985)

Logo: On a Blue background, 2 people can be seen inside a house. At the bottom is a white section with the caption "HASBRO" on it. The 2 people move closer to each other.


Technique: Traditional Animation

Music/Sounds: A Ding sound

Availability: Seen on Hasbro ad's from the era, such as "Hungry Hungry Hippos" and "Lite Brite"

2nd Logo (Boys Variant) (1982-1985)

Logo: On a White background, a grey stamp resempling the previous logo design is stamped o by a hammer, spoofing the Mark VII limited logo.

Technique: Traditional Animation

Music/Sounds: A quick Hammer clang.


Availability: Appears on 1980s Hasbro commercials for Toys aimed at a Male audience, such as "Transformers" & "G.I. Joe"

3rd Logo (Girls Variant #1) (1983)

Logo: A pair of curtains can be shown with the Hasbro text from above shown below it. the Curtains move back, reveling the logo design from above, but with a pink background.

Technique: Traditional Animation

Music/Sounds: The end of the commercial.


Availability: Appears on the very 1st "My Little Pony" commercial.

4th Logo (Girls Variant #2) (1983-1985)

Logo: On a Tan background, a line is shown with the Hasbro text below it. Then, 3 Dancers peform a short dance above the line.

Technique: Traditional Animation

Music/Sounds: The end of the commercial.


Availability: Appears on various "My Little Pony" commercials.
