Background

On May 6, 2001, British film studio Redbus Film Distribution was acquired by German media company Helkon Media AG for $23 million, and renamed to "Helkon SK" to reflect its partnership with Helkon Media. On May 6, 2003, Helkon SK ended the partnership after Helkon Media went bankrupt, and changed its name back to Redbus.

Logo (2001-2003)


Visuals: Same as the Helkon Filmverleih logo, but with the text "HELKON SK" below, panning down.

Variant: The logo could be also still.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the Helkon Filmverleih logo.

Availability: It's seen on UK releases such as Bend It Like Beckham, A Walk to Remember, and Republic of Love, among others. The long version was seen on the 2003 version of Hansel and Gretel and Repli-Kate.
