Logo (September 18, 1989-May 12, 1990)
Visuals: The logo begins with a close up of a house on the roof, looking through the window. Inside, there is a loft with a man (appears to be claymation) sitting on a chair, laughing and slapping his leg (specifically, on the knee). The camera zooms out quickly to show the front right, revealing what appears to be a lake house, gray with a red roof. It is night time with a moon and stars. The house is surrounded by trees and a lake on the left. A blue car is parked on the left. The words
HUGH
WILSON
P R O D U C T I O N
fade in on the upper left. "HUGH WILSON" (in a cursive font with lights) shines itself in, with "A" and "P R O D U C T I O N" (in a plain font) fading in a little later. "HUGH WILSON" shines throughout.
Technique: Claymation animation.
Audio: The man's deep laughter and a slap sound when he slaps his knee, followed by chirping crickets.
Availability: This only appeared on The Famous Teddy Z, a short-lived sitcom starring Jon Cryer that aired on CBS during the 1989-90 season. It could possibly be found on old tape recordings.
