Background

Imperative Entertainment is an American production company founded in 2014 by television producer Tim Kring and billionaire businessman Dan Friedkin. It is second production company to be founded by Kring after Tailwind Productions.

1st Logo (September 24, 2015-February 27, 2017)

Visuals: On a blue-clouded background, there is a metallic silver fighter jet moving across the screen from above. A ring encircles most of the fighter jet, and on that ring the words "IMPERATIVE" and "ENTERTAINMENT" curve on the top and bottom of the ring respectively. The ring shines throughout the logo. The logo cuts to whatever logo follows this one.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, the logo is still.
  • There is a long variant where the fighter jet moves the road and flies in the sky, then the finished product is showing.

Technique: CGI animation by Blur Studio.

Audio: Airplane sounds (sound design by Michael Gatt) or the closing theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Heroes: Reborn and season 1 of Beyond.

2nd Logo (March 13, 2017-)

Visuals: On a black background, the words: "IMPERATIVE ENTERTAINMENT", with "IMPERATIVE" being above the smaller "ENTERTAINMENT" fade in. As the words fade in the word "ENTERTAINMENT" slowly zooms in. The logo then fades to black.

Variant: On Treadstone, the logo is much shorter and is next to the Tailwind Productions logo.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: None or the opening/closing theme of the show/movie.

Availability: Can be seen on the TV series Treadstone, season 2 of Beyond, and on such films as All the Money in the World, The Mule, and The Last Vermeer.
