Background

InVision Productions was a production company that was formed by William Cran in 1992. It was then merged with Paladin Pictures to form Paladin InVision in 2001.

1st Logo (July 11, 1993-1998)

Visuals: On a black background, a white swirl draws in from the center. Below it was "An InVision Production for", along with the 1988 BBC logo, sometimes that of A&E Network or WGBH Boston, who co-produced the show.

Variant: Sometimes, the text is positioned to the left and the swirl is on the right.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: None or the end theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on documentaries like The History of a Mystery, The Prize and Aristotle Onassis: The Golden Greek.

2nd Logo (1998-2000)

Visuals: On a black background, with the swirl moving towards the screen in a blurred manner, the swirl from before is shown, with a red line below the swirl. Below it was the words "An InVision Production". Notice for other producers appears below the logo.

Variant: On BBC productions, the logo is still and the logo is on a black background.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The end theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Space, Soviet Sports War, The Roman Way of War and The Secret World of Richard Nixon.
