Background

This was an independent production company that made two 1999 films, No Vacancy and Simon Sez. The company's output was distributed onto home video by Columbia TriStar Home Video; Columbia TriStar Film Distributors International provided international theatrical distribution.

Logo (September 10-December(?) 1999)

Visuals: A silver "A" made of segmented lines appears on a black background. As the camera pans up and a light shines, more segmented lines in the form of an "I" appear and interconnect with the "A". The lines move to the left as the camera zooms out, forming a connected "IA". "Independent Artists" appears next to the letters on the bottom-right. The logo shines throughout.

Variant: A short version, which only has the logo shining, appears on the trailer for Simon Sez.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Some whoosh and sparkling sounds.

Availability: It's only known to have been seen on Simon Sez and No Vacancy.
