Background

Instagram is an American photo and video sharing social networking service owned by Meta. It allows users to upload media that can be edited with filters, be organized by hashtags, and be associated with a location via geographical tagging. The platform was originally launched for iOS on October 6, 2010, and world later be made available for Android, Fire OS, Microsoft Windows, and the web. As of 2023, there have been 2.3 billion active users on the platform.
