Background
Twitter was an online social and social networking service launched on on July 15, 2006. It was available for the web, iOS, iPadOS, Android, and macOS. By the start of 2013, the platform had more than 330 million monthly active accounts.
On October of 2022, Twitter was acquired by Elon Musk for $44 billion US dollars, gaining control of the platform and becoming the CEO. Twitter would later rebrand to X on July 24, 2023.
