International Rocketship Limited

Background

International Rocketship Limited is a animation company made by Marv Newland, creator of Bambi vs. Godzilla, to make short animated films once he moved to Canada.

Logo (1980-2000)

Visuals: On a blue starry background, a silver blimp/rocket can be seen, appearing to be designed after the Art Deco style. Afterwards, the glowing red words "INTERNATIONAL ROCKETSHIP LIMITED" appear one-by-one, set at an angle below the blimp. Fire is blown from behind the rocket and all but the text fades out, which disappears a few seconds later.

Technique: The text appearing, the rocket/blimp's exhaust flames. ^{[possible misuse]}

Audio: Mostly a ditty known as the "Rocketship Theme", produced by John Carroll, with random sounds for each text appearing and the rocket's muzzle, which all vary. May also use the opening theme of the short (sometimes with the explosion sound) or be silent.

Availability: Seen on almost all animated films by the company from 1980 to 2000. One example is Lupo the Butcher.
