Background

JYP Entertainment Corporation (Korean: JYP 엔터테인먼트) is a South Korean multinational entertainment and record label conglomerate founded in 1997 by Jin-young Park. JYP is well-known for being the label for K-Pop groups such as TWICE, ITZY and Stray Kids.

Logo (2015-)

Visuals: There is the JYP Entertainment logo which consists of the blue capitalised letters "J", "Y", and "P" making JYP in a straightened handwritten font placed on the left side of the logo. Then, next to that reads the following:

JYP ENTERTAINMENT

in black, exactly designated in the same font with the latter and is also in capitals as well this time, but given a more bolder look. Below the logo is a line, with text below reading "LEADER IN ENTERTAINMENT".

Variants:

  • Sometimes, the logo is completely white.
  • The logo can also be pushed to the corner or side of the screen to make room for the song's logo. This is seen on almost all music videos containing this logo.
  • Starting in 2021, with ITZY - 'Not Shy (English Ver.)', the "ENTERTAINMENT" text was removed, and the "LEADER IN ENTERTAINMENT" text takes its place. [1]
  • For NiziU - 'HEARTRIS', the logo is formed via Tetris blocks. There is also a retro video game style to it. [2]

Technique: A still digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: This logo is seen at the end of a majority of JYP Entertainment music videos.
