Background

Jiangsu Audio and Video Publishing House (Chinese: 江苏音像出版社) is the state publishing house of Jiangsu Province, China, founded in 1984 and headquartered in Nanjing.

1st Logo (1988)

Visuals: Over a stock blue starfield background, with some white nebulas shown afar, a pink rounded square logo shoots out of the top-left corner and moves away near the center. Then pink Chinese text appears shooting out of the top-right corner. The whole logo, along with the Chinese text, shoots out below the screen. It then zooms in from the center. The logo is revealed to be an "F" shape with the Chinese text "飞莺" below, with the name reading "江苏音像出版社". The logo then zooms out, and then more stacked pink Chinese text appears zooming in.

Technique: Chyron effects.

Audio: A rendition of "Leichte Kavallerie: Ouvertuere" by Franz von Suppè, with multiple synth zapping effects.

Availability: Seen on early tapes from the era, including locally-produced films like 金玉奇缘.

2nd Logo (1990?)

Visuals: Footage is shown where a yellow nebula zooms in. It then fades into a blue starfield different from the previous logo, as the logo from before, now in purple, appears spinning in from the left into the top of the screen. Then the red name of the company, "江苏音像出版社", zooms in below. The background stops moving, and the logo disappears after a few seconds as the same Chinese text from the end of the previous logo, in a red font, appears zooming in from the bottom-left corner.

Technique: Chyron effects.

Audio: Same as before.

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]
