Jumbo Home Video
Background
Jumbo Games is a Dutch-founded jigsaw puzzle and games company which was established in 1853 and is owned by M&R de Monchy N.V. Jumbo Games produce and manufacture all of their jigsaw puzzles and cardboard based games in their own factory that is based in the Netherlands. The Jumbo head office is located in the Netherlands and there are also offices in the UK, Germany and Belgium. In the 1990's it did a venture to videocassettes, which was by itself a relatively short-lived.

Logo: We see a red cube set against a blue background. On all of these, the picture of an elephant gets juxtaposed. The cube then rotates around for a while while light shines out of the elephants. Then it stops on the picture of one elephant, which turns into the company logo while a gray filter positions itself around it. Then below the label home video gets written.
Trivia: During the interwar years, Hausemann & Hotte commissioned wooden toys by the Mauritz en Ball company of Zeist. These toys had to be made to be strong enough "that a wooden elephant could stand on them". These toys were sold under the Jumbo brand name. This was the birth of the elephant brand.
Technique: CGI.
Music/Sounds: First a synth note is heard, which then transitions to cymbals. While the cube turns around a flute piece is heard. When the light shines to the viewer glass xylophone is played. At the end you can hear a drum and a gong being played.
Availability: Found on Netherlands children's releases from the period.
