Background

Karrot Animation is a British animation studio founded in 2008 with its best known work including Sarah & Duck.

1st Logo (May 12, 2012-December 18, 2017)

Logo: On a white background, the text "karrot" in a stamp-like texture zooms out with multiple triangular and cubic pieces, both in black and orange, scattered around the logo. They all move into "karrot", proceeding the bottom text "animation" to fall out of aforementioned word. When the latter word lands, triangular pieces pop out and then fade away.

Variants:

  • Most of the time, it is an in-credit notice.
  • Sometimes, the below text is replaced with "entertainment".
  • Sometimes, the logo is on one row.
  • On We Got a New Microphone, the logo is placed onto the final shot of the short with the "O" bigger and with a slightly different appearance.

Technique: 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: The animated version can be seen on The Snowy Day and Ooman and Moof. The in-credit variant was seen on Sarah & Duck and Midwife Marie.

2nd Logo (January 27, 2020-2021?)

Logo: Similar to the previous logo except the orange color is redder, the "K" is uppercase, the font face is more rounded and normal, and the appearance of it all is more simplified and flat.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Can be seen on Love Monster.

3rd Logo (September 27, 2021-)

Logo: We see the text "Karrot" in a more rounded font. In the hole of the "a" is a little dot inside, and around half of the letter and the "K" is a large circle with a split for the "a" to fit in.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Can be seen on Tish Tash and season 8 of Peppa Pig starting with the episode "Cruise Ship Holiday".
