Background

Juguetes Kreisel is a Venezuelan distributor and manufacturer of toys that began operations during the 1980s, headquartered in Caracas. They became a large distributor of toys in various Latin American countries of various licensed franchises. The company, however, became dormant in December 2016 due to the changing political and economic situations in Venezuela.

1st Logo (1992-2006)

Visuals: On a gray room, there is a large red sphere spinning. A blue laser appears from the corner causing the sphere to burst as a blue circle with a cursive "k" is revealed. The particles from the bursted sphere turn blue and float back into the borders, forming four copies of the circled text "KREISEL" with a red circle separating each. An orange light moves into the logo, forming a white filling in the circle, as a shadow is revealed behind the logo.

Variants:

  • Many later commercials feature a cut-short version of the logo.
  • The RIF code appears on the sides in some commercials.
  • The URL was added in red below the logo in later commercials.
  • On a Nikko commercial, the Kreisel logo was superimposed into a black background with the Nikko logo above.

Technique: 3D CGI.

Audio: An 8-note jingle with the lyrics "Es Kreisel, es excelente!", rearranged depending on the commercial. In 2002 a version with female voices has become the standard of each commercial.

Availability: Seen on Kreisel commercials during the time frame.

2nd Logo (2007-2011)

Visuals: There is a white flash, bringing up the elements of the Kreisel logo, briefly in a black outline, and a blue, sparkling background. The elements of the Kreisel logo rotate into position as they change into their colors, the circle being yellow, and the logo being blue/red just like in the previous logo. Below is the URL of the company and in one of the sides the RIF code of the commercial.

Variants: The URL design was changed in 2009, with each section being arranged in a bold font, in irregular positions and yellow, red and black colors.

Technique: 3D CGI.

Audio: The 2002 jingle from before.

Audio Variant:

  • Again, like in the previous logo, the jingle might be rearranged in some commercials.
  • On the Los Duros de Kreisel commercials, the jingle is in an energetic rock arrangement with a male singer.

Availability: Seen on Kreisel commercials during the time frame.

3rd Logo (2011-2016)

Visuals: There is a yellow background, with the blue "k" circle moving out from the left into the center. The yellow background shrinks into a yellow circle over a white gradient background, with a shadow below. The "KREISEL" texts pop out from the corners while the red dots spin out quickly into position. The URL of the 2010 variant also wipes in the bottom. The circle is then properly formed as the logo quickly spins into a close-up, before changing back to its normal position. The RIF code is seen on the sides as usual.

Variants: The social media info was added in the top-right section of the screen in later commercials.

Technique: 2D CGI.

Audio: The rearranged jingle depending on the commercial.

Audio Variant: Same as the Los Duros de Kreisel commercial variant.

Availability: Seen on Kreisel commercials during the time frame.
