Background

L'Atelier Animation is an Montreal-based animation studio that was founded in 2014. It was acquired by Cinesite in 2022.

The name was derived from a word, which was french for "Workshop".

Logo: On a black background, a light appears and turns like a lighthouse, leaving particles. It turns around and writes "L'ATELIER" (French for "WORKSHOP") with the star on top of the "I". Below it is the word "ANIMATION".

FX/SFX: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: A drumroll. Sometimes, it's silent or the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Current. Seen on Ballerina (Leap! in the US), among others.
