Background

Landmark Entertainment Group was a television production and syndication company.

1st Logo (September 1, 1987-1991)

Logo: On a blue background, we see stars, then a light rain forms the text:

PRODUCTION

"LANDMARK" is shown in an arc in a "Broadway"-style font, "Entertainment Group" in script, and "A" and "PRODUCTION" in a sans serif font. Two lines are shown on the sides of "Group".

Variant: On the pilot of Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future, the text says "A Co-production of Landmark Entertainment Group and Ventura Pictures Inc." appears in a "wipe" effect instead of the logo.

Technique: Rain forming the name.

Audio: An orchestral jingle, which carries on with MTS Entertainment.

Availability: Seen on Captain Power.


2nd Logo (1991-April 22, 2000)

Logo: On a black background, we see the text that says:

"LANDMARK" is shown in an arc in a "Broadway"-style font, "Entertainment Group" in yellow script, Two lines are shown on the sides of "Group".

Variants:

  • On Skeleton Warriors, the logo zooms in when we see a oval inside of the Landmark logo.
  • On the 1993 dub of Kimba The White Lion, Unknown.
  • On Mega Babies, the logo is on a space background and shines with lighting ray.

Technique: Unknown.

Audio: The closing theme of the show.

Audio Variant: On Mega Babies, a synth proud fanfare is heard.
