Laura Video Production

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

1st Logo (1982-1984)

Visuals: On a blue background, a white thick word "Laura" in a fancy font with the text "VIDEO PRODUCTION" below is shown in the left, as well as a drawing of a cat in the right.

Technique: A still computer graphic.

Audio: The opening theme of the tape.

Availability: Seen on company's VHS releases, such as A l'école du trottoir.

2nd Logo (1985-1990)

Visuals: On a pink background, a white bar with the logo from before (with the word "Laura" being in yellow-red gradient, and the text "VIDEO PRODUCTION" being black and settled above) zooms in, covering the screen. The footage fades to 4 copies of the logo (now being in a turquoise square with a black outline and with a white circle in it; a colored drawing of the cat is shown below, along with a white rounded bar with the text "LA VIDEO X DU PLAISIR") in each corner connecting slowly and sliding off-screen while flipping. They connect quickly and the logo zooms in, as the copy of the aforementioned lower text slides in from above.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: The stock synth theme, which was also used in FilmLab and the 1st Films Concorde logo.

Availability: Seen on company's VHS releases, such as Les Femmes préfèrent les grosses.
