Background

Le Journal Guyane was a French Guianese news program, operated by RFO.

1st Intro (1983)

Visuals: Over a half-blue and a half-green background, a square made out of the letters "A" wipes in from below, making two of the letters red. The square wipes in an alphabetical order, causing the red text "LE JOURNAL GUYANE" type in. The RFO corporate logo (white letters "RFO" in a futuristic format with a red wireframe globe in the letter "O") zooms out afterwards.

Technique: Computer graphics.

Audio: An uplifting drum and bongo tune.

2nd Intro (July 13, 2001)

Visuals: On a white background, a silver bar with a white outlined globe landmass on it is shown with various live-action shots superimposed, as well as the orange and black rectangular pieces sliding to the left while tilting slightly, and the white word "télé" and a black word "Guyane". The pieces stop at the text "le Journal", sliding to the opposite side afterwards. The orange pieces form a square shape, and the text "le" is shown sliding in from the left, the white text "Jour" zooming out, and the text "nal" sliding in from the right above, as well as the black text "télé" sliding in from the left and the white text "Guyane" zooming out below. The landmass soon zooms in to a map of the French Guiana, and the logo soon tilts to its regular position.

Technique: Computer animation and live-action.

Audio: An upbeat news-styled woodwind tune.
