1st Logo (1995-2002)
Logo: Against a blue background, we see a framed image of the ugly letters "LF" in a swirly, Eurostile font with a green color and an orange color inside the letters. The words "LEFT FIELD PRODUCTIONS" are shown below.
Variants: There are few variants of logo design:
- Game Boy games: The logo comes in 2D on a black or green background.
- Excitebike 64 and NBA Courtside: The logo comes out of water.
- NBA Courtside 2: Also seen above the water, but still.
- Slam 'N Jam 95 and 96: Seen on gray background with light spot (3DO, PSX and Saturn versions).
- Slam 'N Jam: Seen on cloudy background (DOS version).
Technique: None.
Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the game.
Availability: Can be found on NBA 3 on 3 Featuring Kobe Bryant for Game Boy Color. You'll also find this on Excitebike 64 for the Nintendo 64.
2nd Logo (2002)
Logo: A yellow square comes from the left and collides with a green sphere from the right. A black object falls down behind. The complete double-colored (with rounded edges) square zooms out, then zooms in quickly and revealing a picture of a man sitting and holding a game controller. It also makes a black outline. Then we see the company name "LEFT FIELD" and (below) PRODUCTIONS.
Technique: The animation of the squares.
Music/Sounds: Various sounds fitting the events, ending with a monkey-like howls.
Availability: Seen on Backyard Football for GameCube.
3rd Logo (2004-2011)
Logo: We can see the square with a man, like in the previous logo. The colors are now red and blue. The additional animation depends on the game type.
Variants:
- MTX Mototrax: No animation, the man wears a helmet.
- World Series of Poker: This time the guy plays cards, then takes the console.
Technique: Various.
Music/Sounds:
- MTX Mototrax: The sounds of tribunes and commentator.
- World Series of Poker: The sounds of the people with nine card flips and the poker chips falling.
Availability: Can be found on MTX Mototrax, World Series of Poker and Dave Mirra BMX Challenge for PSP and Wii.
