Background

Lonaisoft Technology (龍愛科技有限公司) is a game developer headquartered in Taiwan, most notable for the Heroes of the Three Kingdoms series of games.

1st Logo (Late 1990s)

Visuals: The screen fades in to a shot of space with the Earth at the center and the camera rotating around it as it gets closer. A white rounded square is then revealed, containing a black outline, a red circle with a white drawing of a dragon and the text "LONAISOFT" underneath, with the holes of the O's respectively being in yellow and blue. The camera stops rotating once the logo moves to the center, and it zooms back as the latter zooms into view. The golden Chinese and English names of the company then come out rotating and moving towards the bottom, revealing to be "龍愛科技有限公司" and "LONAISOFT TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.", as the space background fades out to black. The logo then shines slightly along with the text.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A majestic MIDI fanfare.

Availability: It is seen on most of their Windows 9x-era PC games, including the Heroes of the Three Kingdoms games.

2nd Logo (September 15, 1998)

Visuals: On a green marble background, the circular dragon logo appears moving around from the right towards the center, and then the "LONAISOFT" text appears stretching in below. The rounded white square then appears via "bar" transition.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A short news-like theme.

Availability: So far, it is only known to be seen in Bobble Hero 2.

3rd Logo (Early 2000s)

Visuals: On a black background, yellow sparks appear wiping in the golden words "LONAISOFT" and "TECHNOLOGY CO.,LTD.", both aligned to the right, as the camera follows them. The camera then moves to perspective as the name turns dark, and a yellow comet appears shooting towards the center and bursting into the logo of the company, which appears as a cyan outline without the fill and then wiping into the fully colored logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the first logo.

Availability: It is seen on international releases of the company, such as the South Korean release of Heroes of the Three Kingdoms, localized as Samgukji Fighter.

4th Logo (Early 2000s)

Visuals: The logo starts with a shot of a bedroom with a computer and a door shown on the first take. The camera then turns towards the window as it opens as a yellow dragon with purple eyes comes out and stands above the frame, and begins looking around with its mouth open. The dragon then flies towards the computer monitor, and enters it as a ripple emerges from the screen. The camera then zooms towards the monitor screen and a white flash occurs, as the logo of the company is revealed, now with the dragon in orange. It zooms out as shards appear and form the Chinese and English names of the company, "龍愛科技有限公司" and "LONAISOFT TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.", now in brighter yellow. The dragon design then turns into its usual red color, and sparks pass through the text.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A cartoonish theme with subtle references from the previous fanfare, with crickets at the beginning, a creaking sound when the window opens, blinking, vocal and flying sounds of the dragon, a normal whoosh and a sci-fi whoosh when the dragon flies towards the monitor, a ding and a whoosh during the flash, twinkling sounds during the formation of the logo, and a beam sound and a ding when the sparks pass in front of the names.

Availability: It is seen on children's game releases published by the company, such as Cyborg Kuro-chan.
