Background

Lorton Entertainment is a British production, distribution, and film financing company founded in 2014 by Julian Bird.

(October 9, 2016-)

Logo: Several bars of varying heights rise from the center ground against a black background. They would split up into multiple moving pieces dashing back and forth. This sequence would continue until several of these pieces form a stylized "L" inside a thick squad. "LORTON ENTERTAINMENT" in a stacked format slides from the formed logo with it flickering a few times.

Variant: On some films distributed by the company, "ENTERTAINMENT" is replaced with "DISTRIBUTION".

Technique: Attractive 2D animation of the bars and pieces moving.

Music/Sounds: First, a thunder-like sound when the bars rises and then multiple electronic whooshes.

Availability: Uncommon. Seen on releases from the company starting with On the Road.
