MTI Teleprograms

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Logo (1970s-1986)

Visuals: On a black background is many horizontal streaks of color zip across the screen. The streaks start to form text as a multilayered yellow-orange circular object moves to the top left from the top right. The object settles as a bizarre circular "MTI" insignia, and the text is fully formed as "MTI Teleprograms Inc.", initially in white, but turning orange in a flash of light as the streaks stop. The blue text "presented by" fades in above.

Variant: On Norman Checks In, the background turns dark blue after the flash.

Technique: Appears to be Scanimate.

Audio: Silence, although on an unknown at the moment 1982 film, the Paramount Pictures logo was heard due to plastering.

Availability: Seen at beginning of Norman Checks In and What Tadoo, as well as other productions by the company.
