1st Warning (1983-1992)

Warning: On a white background, we see the purple text "AVERTISSEMENT" in Times New Roman, with the warning text underneath.

AVERTISSEMENT
Autorisé pour les seules fins
de visionnements privés à
domicile. Toute projection
publique, reproduction en tout
ou en partie et l'utilisation
d'une telle reproduction par
quicconque est une violation
aux droits d'auteur et sujet
aux recours prévus par la loi.
Translation:
WARNING: Authorized for the sole purpose of private viewing at home. Any public showing, reproduction in whole or in part and use of such reproduction by anyone is a violation of copyright and subject to remedies provided by law.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on all René Malo Vidéo releases, as well as early Malofilm releases. Also found on early Canadian French MGM/UA and Paramount VHS releases, where it was used until 1992.


2nd Warning (1990-1997, French releases only)

Warning: Same as the previous warning, but this time the warning is in a Courier font and the word "AVERTISSEMENT" is much smaller.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Can be found on French-language Malofilm releases from the era. English releases lack this warning and uses the PolyGram Video warning instead.
