Logo (March 1990-1993)
Visuals: Zooming out of a space background is a large, equatorial ring-like gold object with a sphere in its centre, positioned on the right side of the screen. It crossfades to a constellation that soars from right to left in an arc-shaped path with its tail end becoming a lion. The beast transforms into a zebra, followed by a dolphin that dives into a water, and then a hawk that briefly flies off into the distance before returning down, morphing into a large, stylised "M". The remaining cursive letters "argy" are drawn in afterwards, followed by a small ball of light writing "presenta" on the bottom right.
Technique: Cel animation.
Audio: A new wave Moog synthesized fanfare,
Availability: It can be seen on documentary tapes like DeAgostini's La Grande Avventura del Mare and Il Corpo Umano, which has this logo intact on its Vivivideo release.
