1st Logo (1996-2007)

<youtube width=240 height=185>ttetMm7gBUc}}

Nicknames: "Is it live, or is it Memorex?", "Ella Fitzgerald Broke Her Wine Glass"

Logo: On a black background, we see a wine glass on the myrtle green floor, that shatters, and the words appear, "Is it live, or is it Memorex©?", with the word "live" flashing myrtle green once. After that the logo cuts to black for a few seconds, and then the real logo animation begins: 4 CDs appear from the corners, and they all place on the center. The N-TK Entertainment Technology logo appears and unwinds in front of the CD's, then zooms up as the CDs go back. The Memorex Software logo zooms in below the N-TK logo, as some text below appears, and the URL also appears below and briefly shears.

FX/SFX: The wine glass breaking, the word "live" flashing, the CD's moving, N-TK Entertainment Technology unwinding, the zooming of the logos, the URL shearing.

Music/Sounds: A glass breaking sound, then a cheap synth-rock tune that repeats in a cheesy way.

Availability: Ultra rare, close to being extinct. It appears on some titles released by the company, those are really hard to find nowadays.
