Background

Mercury Entertainment was a television syndication company, founded by Ira Bernstein. In 2006, this company merged with Debmar Studios to form "Debmar-Mercury".

1st Logo (October 15, 2001)

Logo: On a space background, the chrome text "MERCURY" slides in from the right before zooming back, as light reflects on it. The text "ENTERTAINMENT" fades in below in a brighter shade.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the program.

Availability: Seen on Tracker. The pilot and two episodes of the series were packaged together into the direct-to-video film Alien Tracker, and this along with the logos for Modern Entertainment, Future Films and Lionsgate Television were left intact.

2nd Logo (2004-2006)

Logo: We see some {{Expansion depth limit exceeded|blue}}-tinted mountains. The word "{{Expansion depth limit exceeded|Times New Roman|MERCURY}}", with "ENTERTAINMENT" below in a small font and a line separating the words, zooms out through some light bars. It then stops in the center.

Variant: A shortened version exists.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: A "whoosh" then a "clunk" when the letters stop.

Availability: Extinct. Was seen on syndicated reruns of South Park.
