Background

Messenger is an American instant messaging app and platform developed by Meta, launched on August 9, 2011. It is used to send messages and exchange photos, videos, stickers, audio, and files, and also react with other users' messages and interact with bots. Voice and video calling is also supported by the service.

Screen (201?-)

Visuals: On a white (if the device is on light mode) or gray (if the device is on dark mode) background, there is a speech bubble in a blue to pink gradient with a lightning bolt icon in it. At the bottom of the screen is "from" and the Meta logo stacked together.

Variants:

  • From 2019 until 2021, the "FACEBOOK" was originally in place of the Meta logo.
  • Until 2020, the logo was originally in a blue gradient.
