Background

(1971-1983)

Logo: Over a black background with what appears to be 4 satellites spinning on the left side, we see some Georgian text on the right side either rise up or rapidly zoom in. After different text rises 3 times and zooms in 2 times, a compass appears above the satellites with some curved text next to it, forming an oval in the middle, where more text (presumably the company name) zooms in, along with an oval around it. The small Georgian text fades away and the large text inside the oval descends a bit.

FX/SFX: The satellites spinning and text animation.

Music/Sounds: A quiet “whistling” sound, along with an eerie seven-note jingle.

Availability: Extinct, was only seen on the channel's news openings of the time.

Editor's Note: A rather ominous logo, thanks to the dark imagery and unsettling music.
