Background

This is the film production studio of NOM, a Russian experimental rock band.

1st logo (March 30, 2002-April 9, 2008)

Visuals: On a black background with stars, a triangle is stretching itself until it reaches a comfortable position. In the triangle, there is a strange painting (drawn by Nikolai Kopeikin) which seems to depict:

  • three bears with the second one having a crown (on the top)
  • a mirrored goat, the sun and five stars below the goat's legs (in the middle)
  • a pig with a cat standing on it, a naked chicken holding a meteorite (?) with a bear, a panther, a rabbit and a hedgehog (on the bottom)

"НОМ" (with a star in the "О") slowly slides in from the left, and "ФИЛЬМ" (with Л and М being with "legs" that "stomp") slides from the right. The background becomes fully black, and the final result becomes gold.

Variant: On Фантомас снимает маску (Fantomas Takes Off His Mask), the logo appears in widescreen.

Technique: 2D digital animation.

Audio: A dramatic synth fanfare. When the letters "stomp", there is a stomping noise as well.

Availability: Seen on Пасека (Apiary) (2002), Геополипы (Geopolips) (2004), Беларуская быль (Belarusian Story) (2006) and Фантомас снимает маску (Fantomas Takes Off His Mask) (2008).

2nd logo (December 20, 2012)

Visuals: On a black camera, the camera zooms out and reveals all the objects from the previous logo, but without the triangle. Some of them move (for example, the goat moves its legs, the panther moves its hand, and the crown spins). "НОМ" is being formed, with the star appearing in the "О". "ФИЛЬМ" appears below "НОМ", and trumpets come from the left and right sides of the text.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A re-orchestrated version of the synth fanfare from the previous logo. Squeaking sounds can also be heard.

Availability: Only seen on Звёздный ворс (Star Worms).
