Background

Neue Deutsche Film Gesellschaft is a major independent German film production company, founded in 1947 by Harald Braun and Jacob Geis, with headquarters in Unterföhring and additional locations in Berlin, Hamburg, and Cologne, specializing in television and film productions, including international co-productions. [1]

Logo (September 14, 1951-March 18, 1955)

Visuals: Over a black background, the bottom part shines white as a 3D model "NDF" moves towards the bottom part of the screen with shadows casting to the bottom. A sans-serif, arched "NEUE DEUTSCHE FILM GESELLSCHAFT" fades in above.

Variant: On Nachts auf den Straßen, a still and textless version of the logo fades in against the film's opening scene, where the stacked text: "NEUE DEUTSCHE FILMGESELLSCHAFT und INTERCONTINENTAL FILM zeigen" is shown in front, fading in simultaneously.
