1st Logo (Japan, 1988-1996)

Logo: On a blue background, we see the famous Nintendo logo (an oblong with the name "Nintendo" in its trademark font and a trademark symbol inside) in sky blue. The logo shines from left to right.

FX/SFX: The logo shining.

Music/Sounds: The coin sound effect from Super Mario Bros.. Some advertisements, such as the one for Super Mario Bros. 3, play the commercial's music instead.

Availability: Extinct. Found on most Japanese commercials of first-party Famicom, Game Boy, and Super Famicom games such as Yoshi, Yoshi's Cookie, and Kirby's Dream Land 2.
