Nippon Herald Films was a film division of a Japanese newspaper publisher, The Nippon Herald.

1st Logo (1960-1990)

Logo: On a black background, we see the old Nippon Herald logo with a company's name in Japanese on the bottom.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None or opening theme of the movie.

2nd logo (1990-1997)

Logo: Same as the last Herald Videogram logo, but the text in Japanese fades in.

FX/SFX: Same as the last Herald Videogram logo.

Music/Sounds: Same as the last Herald Videogram logo, or none.

3rd Logo (1996-2005)

Logo: On sky background, we see a red planet Earth rotating with the stylized N flying together with the world "HERALD" zooming in, Then, the company's name in Japanese wipes in.

Variants:

  • A filmed version exists on both fullscreen and widescreen.
  • A prototype and videotape version exists.

FX/SFX: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: Same as the last Herald Videogram logo, or none. On some DVDs a Japanese announcer says the company's name. Starting in 1998, the theme was now in stereo.
