Background

The Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, commonly known as NTT, is a Japanese telecommunications company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The company provides telephone, internet network and digital television services and also owns the national mobile carrier NTT DoCoMo.

1st Logo (1985-1988)

Logo: On a white background, we see a 3D line which then forms a pretzel-like shape. On top of the shape, we see a Japanese slogan and on the bottom of it, se also see the NTT wordmark in black.

FX/SFX: CGI and 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: A 4-note synth theme, and a female voice saying the company name.

Availability: Seen on commercials from the time period.

2nd Logo (1988)
