1st Logo (1987)

Logo: On a map of the entire world with landmasses colored old gold and oceans/waterways colored dove gray, we see the text

NORTH AMERICAN

RELEASING

presents

zoom in to the middle of the screen from North America (specifically the United States).

Trivia: This company was also the distributor of some of Atlas International's owned films for the U.S home video market, as the map background and music were borrowed from the Atlas International logo.

Technique: Not much going on here; just the text zooming in.

Music/Sounds: A sampled synthesized piece from the track "Friedmann Bach" from Klaus Schulze's 1978 album X, which was also used for the 1st & 2nd Atlas International logos.

Availability: Extremely rare. Seen on their tapes of the era such as Don't Go In The House, and Jack and The Beanstalk (1974 English dubbed anime), most of which are very hard to find now.
