Background

NuFX, Inc. was a game developer that was formed in 1990 by Lou Haehn and Patrick Quinn. It was sold to Electronic Arts in 2004 and absorbed into EA Chicago. It never used a logo on most games.

1st Logo (November 1995)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a silver rectangle. Behind it was the 3D word "Nu" and the two handwritten letters "FX" in huge. On the right is the word "INC."

Technique: A still, CGI graphic.

Audio: A sound of a crowd cheering.

Availability: Only seen on PGA Tour 96 for the Sega Genesis.

2nd Logo (November 20-December 1996)

Visuals: On a white background, there is a black rectangle. Inside it was the white word "NU". Next to it was a purple-white gradient scribble with the black word "FX" in black next to it.

Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Seen on NBA Live '97 for the SNES and Sega Genesis.
