Background

Open Corp. was a company based in South Korea that was founded by ex-employees from Zemina. They produced mostly unlicensed NES/Famicom and Sega Master System games during the 1990s, and were published by Daou Infosys from 1993 onward.

Logo (1993-1994)

Visuals: Over a gray background, there is a red/white/blue banner with the black text "Open" in front of it. Below is the name of the company in yellow, "OPEN CORP.".

Variants:

  • The logo would appear with the Daou Infosys logo on several games.
  • One instance had the logo without the company name subtitle.
  • An animated variant existed on a Family Noraebang, where the elements of the logo would slide in, and the Hangul name would appear.
  • One instance had the logo on a black background.

Audio: None.

Availability: Mostly found on unlicensed South Korean games for the NES and Master System, including Metal Force, Family Noraebang, and Suho Cheonsa.
