Visuals: Against a black background, 2 DVDs, one solid and the other transparent, zoom out to the center of the screen, with the solid one coming in from the top left and vice versa. The DVDs fuse together to create one solid DVD. As it rotates, a laser with a lens flare that moves with it traces around its edges, causing it to turn into a flat abstract disc shape in black and silver. "PDMC" in ghostly white appears before flashing into neon blue and turning 3D in the process, as "Panasonic Disc Manufacturing Corporation" fades in below. The lens flare moves in the background from left to right.

Variant: A still variant exists that places the abstract DVD (without "PDMC") over the lens flare and below the Panasonic logo, with "MDMC" next to it. Above all this is "DVD Production Services By:". This appears on Phone Booth, Like Mike, Hope Floats, The Blue Max, Sink the Bismarck!, and the second season of The Mary Tyler Moore Show (the video files date to February 2003, but the set was not released until 2005).

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A synth pad drone with a warbling sound, a reverse cymbal, a low-pitched laser sound, and a low hit with a deeper drone at the end. The music is in-sync with everything that goes on in the logo.

Availability: Most 20th Century Fox DVDs have either the Digital Video Compression Center or the Deluxe Digital Studios logo at the time.

• Seen on certain Fox releases from 2003 to 2006, such as Olive, the Other Reindeer, Firefly: The Complete Series, The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, Sleeping with the Enemy, Bad Girls, Catch That Kid, Garfield: The Movie, Silver Streak, Roll Bounce, History of the World: Part I, Laura, the first season of Dharma & Greg, the second season of That 70s Show, the first three seasons of Reba, and the third and fourth seasons of The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

2nd Logo (July 22, 2006-October 5, 2010)

Visuals: Against an ocean blue background with a bright blue vortex, a transparent DVD flies in up close from the top right of the screen, immediately zooming out afterward. As it does, it turns white and then solid as a faint flash fires a laser that runs from left to right at the bottom of the disc. The laser forms "Panasonic Disc Manufacturing Corporation" while also wiping in "PDMC" above. When the laser leaves, two horizontal white lines below pass through each other, repeating it until a white horizontal strip is formed. After this, two blue lines inside the strip perform the same action to cover most of it with a blue strip, as a pink spark inside flies left to right, forming the Panasonic logo and the company slogan "ideas for life" (in the same font).

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A synth note that becomes louder, followed by a brief explosion and the sound of the laser. Dreamy sounding keys play repeatedly as the logo ends with a horn sounder. Again, everything is in-sync with the music.

Availability: Seen on certain Fox releases such as the first three seasons of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, season four of Reba, The Purple Heart, 12 Rounds: Extended Cut, In the Name of the King, S. Darko: A Donnie Darko Tale, a couple of late 2000s Strawberry Shortcake DVDs, Garfield's Pet Force, and Goosebumps: One Day at HorrorLand. The last DVDs to use this during its regular run was The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), as a bonus disc included in the DVD release of the 2008 remake (the disc with the 2008 version has the Deluxe Digital Studios logo), Saving Grace: Season Two, and the last three seasons of Reba. After then, logos for video technology services were phased out of Fox releases, though this logo returned for the final three seasons of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, released in 2009 and 2010.
