Pearl River Film Company
Background: Pearl River Film Company was a Chinese film production company from the late 1950's to 2000. It was originally founded as Zhujiang Film Company in 1956, and then it was renamed into Pearl River Film Studio in 1958. Before the 1970's, Pearl River produced its historical and war films, but in the 1990's, it started to make comedic/drama films.
