Background

Perfini (Perusahaan Film Nasional Indonesia) is the first official Indonesian film company that is important in the Indonesian film industry. Its first film, Darah dan Doa, was released on March 30, 1950, and that date by now is acknowledged as Indonesia's National Film Day. It produced movies from the 1950s to the 1980s, after which it went defunct.

1st Logo (March 30, 1950, 1953)

Logo: We see a silhouette of a bull. "PERFINI" in white fades in above the bull, then zooms in.

FX/SFX: The text appearing and zooming in.

Music/Sounds: A short fanfare. On Harimau Tjampa, it's silent.

Availability: Seen on Darah dan Doa and Harimau Tjampa.

Editor's Note: Perhaps the oldest Indonesian logo on the wiki.

2nd Logo (1951)

Logo: We see a bull statue standing on a ground. Below is the words "PERFINI" on a pedestal.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme.
