Background

Phil Nibbelink Productions is the production company of animator Phil Nibbelink.

1st logo (July 6, 1999, July 14, 2000)

Logo: In a black background, we see numerous sparkles briefly appear before what appears to be Phil Nibbelink's signature, in gold, being written out as the camera zooms out and turns until the signature is completely horizontal. After the signature is fully written out, it briefly flashes yellow before the yellow word "PRODUCTIONS" is formed below from left-to-right, the S shining once it is done forming. A gold oval is then drawn underneath, and a yellow whale then appears and briefly glows yellow. The signature and oval shine before the entire logo briefly glows and sparkles and, after a brief moment, glows again and disappears into many stars.

Variant: A shortened version of the logo plays at the end of Puss in Boots.

Technique: 2D digital animation.

Audio: A grand orchestral theme that ends with the sound of a sword being drawn, whooshing sounds and an orchestral hit.

Audio Variant: At the end of Puss in Boots and Leif Ericson: The Boy Who Discovered America, the end credits theme of the film plays over the logo.

Availability: Seen on Phil's adaptation of Puss in Boots and Leif Ericson: The Boy Who Discovered America.

2nd logo (October 27, 2006)

Logo: On a black background, we see the dark blue text "Phil Nibbelink", which is arched, and "PRODUCTIONS", which is in Comic Sans, fly in. The logo then shines, and then the camera zooms into the second "B".

Technique: 2D digital animation.

Audio: Whooshing sounds and a 7-note horn fanfare.

Availability: Only seen on Romeo & Juliet: Sealed with a Kiss.
