Background

PiP Animation Studios is a Canadian full-service animation studio. Their most recent work includes the CBC series Wandering Wenda, WNET series Cyberchase and the Discovery Kids/Qubo show Doki.

1st Logo (August 7, 2005-August 26, 2007)

Visuals: In the credits, there are two large blue serif "P"s. In the middle is a yellow lowercase serif "i". Below is "animation services inc", stacked in two rows and sandwiched between two yellow lines.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Only seen on early episodes of Carl².

2nd Logo (2008-2017)

Visuals: On a white background, there is an animated cartoon toucan looking at the black serif word "PiP" with a red dot in the "i", with "animation services inc" in the same fashion as the last logo, albeit with the lines red and the text black. The toucan then smiles at us while pointing at the logo.

Variant: An in-credit version with the toucan on top of "PiP" exists.

Technique: Flash animation.

Audio: The ending theme.

Availability: The in-credit version was seen on Wandering Wenda and the animated version was seen on later episodes of Carl² and the failed pilot of Chinatown Cops. Most of their productions feature in-credit notices, so this logo is rare to find.
