Samuel Goldwyn Films is the current independent film company of
Samuel Goldwyn, Jr. formed in 1999, two years after his
former production company was folded into
MGM and transferred most of the library into it, even though he started producing and distributing independent movies later on. After Goldwyn's death on January 9, 2015, his son Peter has been co-running the company.
