Prana Studios

Background

Prana Studios, Inc. was an American computer animation and visual effects company, founded in 2005 in Los Angeles, United States, with a wholly owned subsidiary in Mumbai, India.

1st Logo (March 4-December 16, 2008)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a background consisting of blue squares, in a letterbox format. Soon, the text "PRANA" zooms out, by each letter, along with a line moving under the text as a blue light shines. As the logo is fully formed, the light gets bigger, and disappears.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A synth drone sound.

Availability: Seen on 3 Pigs and a Baby, Tortoise vs. Hare, and The Goldilocks and the 3 Bears Show, all which are part of the Unstable Fables series.

2nd Logo (May 28, 2010-November 5, 2013)

Visuals: On a black background, the letters from the same logo rises up from a water reflection, as a red dot fades in. A line draws in on top of the logo.

Variant: On Space Chimps 2: Zartog Strikes Back, the logo is still.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The opening theme of the movie, or none.

Availability: The animated logo was seen only on Saving Santa. The still variant appears on Space Chimps 2: Zartog Strikes Back. This doesn't appear on Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return, despite their logo appearing on posters.
