1st Logo (1994-1996)

Nickname: "Cheap Preah"

Logo: First, there is some color bars, then a triangle fills up the screen with a cheesy space background animation, a drawing(?) of the Preah Vihear temple (in Cambodia) fades in. Then we see green text wiping in, the text (if you can't read it) says this:

PREAH VIHEAR VIDEO CO

ព្រះវិហារភាពយន្ត

After a few seconds, the screen gets completely cropped out and replaced with an orange background.

FX/SFX: The starfield, the logo zooming out.

Music/Sounds: Same as the jingle from Tohokushinsha Home Video, then a bombastic theme, and then a cheap trumpet theme.

Availability: Ultra rare. Seen on រឿងប្រុសដែលខ្ញុំស្រឡាញ់ (The boy I love) and Tngai Na Oun Vil Vinh.

Legacy: This logo is infamous for its very outdated nature with many in the logo community calling it a logo stuck in the 70's.

2nd Logo (1998-2001)

Notice: this template has been replaced by {{Guidance}} and {{Guidance detail}}

Nicknames: "3-G Home Video, Cambodian Style", "The Arm of Doom", "Genesis Home Video And UAV Combined"

Logo: We see a blue background and a half covered by water. A VCD player then appears from underwater and rises up, and it's later revealed that a hand is holding it. The camera gets far from the VCD player. The VCD player's tray ejects, a blue VCD then flies in and places itself on the tray. The VCD player then starts to read the disc. A flash occurs, leaving another view of the VCD player as the Khmer text zooms in. A metallic drawing of a temple on a hill appears and moves above the Khmer text. Lights then appear, forming part-by-part the words "Preah Vihear" and "Productions", in yellow.

FX/SFX: Really poor CGI animation, but better than before. Note the offset English text.

Music/Sounds: An ascending sound that sounds like an airplane, then a booming whoosh.

Availability: Extremely rare. You may be lucky finding this on videoke VCDs in Cambodia.

3rd Logo (2001-2003)

Logo: On a black background, a blue box with a pink outline containing a model of the Preah Vihear temple zooms in. The text "ផលិតកម្ម" and "ព្រះវិហារ", both in white with a black and yellow outline, slides in from the left and right respectively. Underneath the Khmer text is the English translation in black with a white and yellow stroke that flips into the frame. Two cuts of "VCD" in yellow with a red stroke slides in from both sides, whereas "KARAOKE" in red with a white stroke flips from the left. Lastly, "VOL. 1" in white with a blue stroke slides in from the bottom.

FX/SFX: Quite an improvement of the previous 2 logos, even if it's simple 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: Soft pop music, which usually sound like instrumentals from many Southeast Asian karaoke videos.

Availability: Seen on VCD KARAOKE VOL. 01.

4th Logo (2003-2008)

Logo: On a globe background, the same Preah Vihear model from the previous logo zooms in. The company's logo in Khmer in white with a red stroke fades and flips in while the temple is zooming in. Once done zooming in, the company's name in English in white with a purple stroke zooms in next, with more Khmer text and the copyright information in white with a blue stroke fading in at the bottom.

Variant: On VCD KARAOKE tapes, the same text and animation from the previous logo containing the name of the tape would play in place of the copyright info and bottom Khmer text. This time, however, "VCD" now flips to the right and the stroke for the volume number is thicker.

FX/SFX: The background clips, the parts of the logo zooming and flipping in.

Music/Sounds: Same as before.

Availability: Once again, seen on VCD KARAOKE tapes such as VOL. 30.
