Background

Producciones Esponja Home Video was a pirated home video company from Mexico.

Logo (2009)

Visuals: The 1985-2006 Walt Disney Pictures logo plays. Overlapping it is the company name in two split blocks of text, one saying "Producciones Video" and the other saying "Esponja Home", both of which zoom in and out, alternating with one another. These texts then change to "TE PRESENTA" in a different font, which changes angles quickly before cutting to the same text (in a different font) in the center of the screen. This then changes to "Lo mejor de títulos infantiles", in the same style and animation as the first text.

Trivia: The company is named after the Spanish translation of SpongeBob SquarePants - Bob Esponja.

Technique: Computer animation superimposed over pre-existing cel animation, likely done in Sony Vegas.

Audio: "Andy's Birthday" from the 1995 Walt Disney Pictures logo, along with a male voice saying, "Producciones Esponja Home Video te presenta lo mejor de títulos infantiles!" (Translation: "Esponja Home Video Productions presents you the best of children's titles!")

Availability: Appears on a handful of bootleg cartoon DVDs in Mexico, with titles including SpongeBob SquarePants, the first two Toy Story films, Monsters, Inc., and the first two Ice Age films, among others.
