1st Logo (1980s-1990s)


Logo: On a black background, the logo zooms in; a black oval with reddish outlines. Inside it is a circle of abstract lines, resembling a sunburst. Over the circle of lines is, in 3D, "PPFN" in yellow with red sides. On the top right corner of the circle of lines is the Garuda Pancasila emblem, Indonesia's coat of arms. Directly below "PPFN" is "PUSAT", and below it, written in arch, "PRODUKSI FILM NEGARA". On the left and right sides of the oval is cotton and paddy, which is the fifth principle of Pancasila's symbol. On the top left corner of the oval is 5 gold stars. The logo zooms in and stops on a comfortable position, in which the words "Pusat Produksi Film Negara" wipes in. Afterwards, it fades into a black background with "mempersembahkan" (presents) written in yellow lettering on it.

Technique: Simple but effective animation.

Music/Sounds: A bombastic and patriotic horn fanfare.

Availability: Was seen on Si Unyil (which aired on TVRI).

2nd Logo (1981)

Logo: Against live-action footage of a seashore, and a few seconds later, The same emblem and text from before rises from the shore and stays static when it is fully exposed. Soon after, the company's name along with "AKTENEN PENERANGAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA" fades in below the emblem.

Technique: Live-action for the footage, simple computer animation for the emblem and text.

Music/Sounds: A bombastic and patriotic horn fanfare.

Availability: Was seen on Kereta Api Terakhir.
