Logo: On a black background, a small, white portion of a minimalist "RPM" slowly pops out before the rest of its red lateral faces fade in, followed by the stacked text "AN RPM PRODUCTION FOR CHANNEL FOUR ©CHANNEL FOUR TELEVISION Co. Ltd. (year in Roman numerals)".
Variants:
- An extended variant has the white outline of the text static and then disappearing as it begins to rise through.
- The earliest version of this logo has the lateral faces completely red and wiping in individually and simultaneously.
FX/SFX: The text rising and fading.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Extremely rare. Seen on the earliest programmes produced for Channel 4 such as Whatever You Want, Loose Talk, and Play At Home. The early variant was only seen on the very first episode of Whatever You Want, "Army", whereas the extended variant was also seen on a few episodes of said series.
