Background

This was a production company owned by producers Gary Reilly and Tony Sattler.

1st Logo (January 30, 1980-September 1, 1984)


Visuals: Superimposed into the end credits of, an abstract yellow typewriter is seen. The "R" forms the left side of the typewriter, while the "S" forms a piece of paper. Below the "RS" typewriter is the text "RS PRODUCTIONS" in an modified Optima font. Everything has a black outline.

Technique: A chroma-keyed drawing.

Audio: The end theme of the show.

2nd Logo (September 25, 1997-1998)

Visuals: Starting from purple static, it zooms out to reveal it on an stylized B&W TV set positioned towards the right, floating off the ground as its shown with a shadow. The text "RS" slides out from the left side of the set, while the text "PRODUCTIONS" slides out of the screen to the right. The static then fades out as the "S" in "RS" fades to white.

Technique: 2D animation.
